🗺️ Location

For a peaceful mind after work, to get ready to go home with a positive mind, join us to experience the happiness of the Buddha’s Teachings.

At this event, you will have the chance to learn the ancient meditation teachings taught by the Buddha. Each week we will cover a different technique taught in the Suttas. There will be time to practice the meditation that is taught as well as ask questions on this and other Dhamma topics.

Even if you are just visiting Sri Lanka, we would love to have you join us. The program is conducted by venerable monks of Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monasteries.

All of our activities are free of charge and made possible through the generous donations of people living here in Colombo.

⏱️ Schedule

Our activities are usually made up of a variety of activities. Meditation periods are either guided or silent and last no longer than 30 minutes without a break. There are usually talks on the teachings of the Buddha. We have breaks throughout the events so we can stretch our legs and talk with each other.
