How Magha Became God Sakka? | CDF World News & Buddha’s Great Message

Sakka, the leader of gods, collected lots of merit diligently when he was in the human world as the youth Magha. He practiced seven vows which led him to be born in the Tavatimsa world as God Sakka. Diligence is always praised by Buddha and negligence is always despised. That is how he became the greatest of the gods. If you do good actions just like God Sakka by following the seven vows throughout the lifetime, how peaceful would it be. What a protection for our lives to be born among devas and to be born among god Sakka that leads to Tavatimsa divine world. So what are the 7 vows?

1. “Taking care of the parents until he dies.
2. Taking care of elders until he dies.
3. Always use kind pleasant words when addressing people until he dies.
4. Never break others’ friendship until he dies.
5. He thought of practicing generosity until he died.
6. He practices telling the truth until he dies.
7. Whenever anger came to his mind, he destroyed that anger the moment it came to his mind. He pushed away his anger from his mind.
