Most of the people do not like to give things to others. But if someone practises generosity he will acquire merit. There are 4 benefits that we can gain in this life by being generous. What are they? 1.He will be pleasant to all beings, 2. He will be associated by noble people, 3. He will acquire good reputation in the society 4. He will acquire good personality There is one benefit we will gain after death. What is it? The generous person will be born in heaven. Therefore, my dear dhamma friends practise generosity.
