Many people like to share their family photos, personal details on social media. But they never think about the consequences of these messages. When you upload these photos, who can see them? Family members, friends and many unknown people we haven’t met before. But we have added them as friends on social media. These people can be good people, also can be bad people like thieves, pedophiles. Many people don’t follow Buddha’s teachings. They don’t know about the precepts. Their minds are always corrupted with lustful thoughts. So when you share your personal information, photos with them, their lustful thoughts will arise in their corrupted mind. Majority times these information leads to kidnapping, murdering, child abusing and many more crimes. Therefore, my dear dhamma friends, social media is something we should avoid at all cost. There are many disadvantages than advantages.
